We want every purchase in XETODUS to feel fair. This policy covers the Vanguard Charter subscription, Aether packs and Vanguard Permits, sold by Legend Games LLC and billed through Stripe, the Steam Wallet (Valve) or Google Play, depending on where you buy.
The short version
If something went wrong with a charge, contact us within 14 days and we'll make it right. Players in the EU and UK can withdraw from a new subscription within 14 days of the first payment for a refund of the unused part.
Vanguard Charter
- Cancel any time with Manage subscription in the game. The Charter stops renewing and your perks last until the end of the period you already paid for. Canceling does not by itself refund the current period.
- Billing mistakes (a double charge, a renewal you canceled in time, a charge you do not recognize) are refunded in full when you tell us within 14 days.
- EU and UK withdrawal right: you can withdraw from a new subscription within 14 days of the first payment. We refund the unused part of the period, calculated by days.
- Yearly plans: if you cancel in the first 14 days of a new yearly plan we refund the unused part; after that, the plan runs to the end of the year.
Aether packs
- Aether is delivered to your account as soon as payment succeeds. You can ask for a refund of an Aether bundle within 14 days of purchase if you haven't spent any of its Aether. Spent Aether is digital content supplied at your request and isn't refundable, except where the law requires it. If a refund is granted, the bundle's Aether is removed from your account. Billing mistakes are still refunded as described above.
- If Aether never arrived, arrived in the wrong amount, or you were charged twice, we fix it or refund you.
- Refunded or disputed Aether is removed from your account (never below zero).
Vanguard Permits
- Not yet delivered or used: permits you have not collected, traded or redeemed can be refunded on request within 14 days of purchase (by completing the purchase you ask for immediate delivery; where your law gives you a right of withdrawal for digital content, it ends once the permits are delivered). The permits are removed from your account.
- Non-refundable once redeemed or traded. Charter time you have redeemed, and permits you have traded to another player, can't be refunded, except for a billing mistake such as a double charge or a charge you do not recognize.
- Newly bought permits can usually be traded at once; some purchases are held for a short time (up to 72 hours for Steam purchases) before they can be traded.
- Vanguard Permits are subject to the Terms of Service.
How to ask
For purchases billed through Stripe, email [email protected] with the subject "Refund", from the email address on your account, with your username and the date and amount of the charge. We reply within a few working days; approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe and usually appear within 5–10 business days.
If you bought the Vanguard Charter, Aether or Vanguard Permits through Steam, refunds go through Steam under Steam's refund policy; ask Steam Support. If you bought them through Google Play, refunds go through Google Play under Google Play's refund policy; ask Google Play. When Steam or Google Play refunds or reverses a purchase, what it delivered is removed from your account as described above.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank; we can usually solve it faster. Purchases reversed by a chargeback are removed from the account, and accounts with fraudulent chargebacks may be suspended.
Your legal rights
This policy adds to, and does not limit, any rights you have under consumer law where you live. See also our Terms of Service.
