Drive Ballast
Weights the warp drive's field against tethers: +1 drive strength, so it takes more tether strength to hold you (a ballasted small hull needs two light tethers), and every tether on your ship holds 35% shorter (a second ballast another +1 and 20%; more do nothing). -5% top speed.
