• Utility S 2Utility mount · small. A tool mount, not a gun mount: no guns or missile launchers fit here. Takes size S: mining lasers, salvagers, Seal Breakers, Splice Rigs, barrier projectors, nanite projectors. Sizes must match exactly (S).
• Fixed S 1Fixed mount · small. Fixed to the hull and facing forward: it fires along the nose, with a few degrees of gimbal. Point the ship at the target. Takes size S: energy guns, mass drivers, missile launchers, mining lasers, salvagers, Seal Breakers, Splice Rigs. Sizes must match exactly (S).
• Mid slots 2Mid slot · shields and electronics. No mount restrictions: takes any mid-slot module. Barrier regenerators, amplifiers and weaves, thrusters, point defense, jammers, scanners, doctrine arrays, the shroud and guidance rigs. Only this class of hull can fit: Lightfold Cloak.
• Low slots 2Low slot · armor and engineering. No mount restrictions: takes any low-slot module. Platings, nanite repair arrays, bracing, cell banks, hold extensions, augers and launcher rigs. One armor plating per hull.
